Corns... are they? I've had Bella a few months now, she's grown a fair bit, now about 18/19"... and when I approach her viv, instead of hiding, she'll get on top of her hide or log, get into a strike position and not back down again until I retreat.
Just wondering if she could be defending her territory because she's got used to me, as before she'd always hide from me
 
Maybe she's just saying "Hey! Take me out for awhile..." Some corns are just out going and will come out to greet you when you walk into the room.
 
now i'm not an expert or ne thing but there was this amel at the petstore that was sooo cool looking and when ever i went in to hold it it would bite at me or even bite me whell to solve this i brought in some rubber gloves thick one and i went at her in the rubber gloves and i started to hold her every week after i would get her in my hands then she would clam right down and be very nice it was just getting her ou tof the tank. whell i did this every weekend and tried to do it on the same time. after about 5 or 6th time i did this w/ the gloves on she stoped biteing at me so i took the gloves off and she still didn't bite at me cause (i think) that she learned that biteing won't stop me from holding her and she hasn't bit me since. oh yea she dosen't bite the other people eather.

She could be hungry, and she knows that you have the food. My babies (about 4 mo.) will sometimes bite (or try to) my hand when I reach in thier cage. Just a suggestion...;)
