I have learned so much here!

You all helped me improve the life of a 4yeaar old normal.

Snake is kept at school in another grade level. I had gone to his owner to ask about him and his care.

She was feeding him 2 pinkies every week to a week and a half. He had a Uth with no thermostat, so it was boiling hot. Owner wondered why snake was always under his water bowl on the cold side.

We measured him at 90 cm the other day. He should easily be on hoppers. I was able to inform owner respectfully about proper Uth use with a thermostat and feeding.

She has his Uth unplugged for now, but as we live in Tampa the ambient temp isn't too cold right now. Hopefully she has ordered a thermostat. When I told her that my Uth was unregulated at 114 degrees and the thermostat keeps it at 85, she unplugged hers immediately.

Hopefully the snake will be much happier now!

Wow, poor guy must have been miserable! I am glad you were able to help with correct info.
