Soooo, I guess 012 is your hold back lol...the normals are showing some nice color early, too, must be daddy's heritage slipping thru...

Like I said, I jinxed this clutch with my "I bet it will be an all male clutch" comment; you'll have plenty of time to blame Chuck for other stuff ;*)

That was the first thing I said as I was catching the first normal diving from his box when I opened the lid. ;) They just shed for the first time and I am impressed with the amount of orange showing at the neck already.

Yes, that #012 is staying with us for now (great, now it won't eat for sure, right?) I am contemplating holding onto one of the normal males as well. Not sure yet.

I have to say it ....again......WHY can't anerys keep their baby colors?!?

Looks like it's unanimous. Before I read everyone elses posts I had a soft spot for the last one. I'm hoping it wasn't just a fluke and I have an 'eye' for picking a goodie. My honey is going to have his patience tried to its limits when it comes to 'keeper selection time'!!!!!

Me Too!

I love #12 too! Beautiful contrast. Reminds me a little of Wadj when she was little.:p

My thoughts exactly Hurley, I would love to have a corn that stayed that beautiful contrasting black/silver. Maybe you and Chuck can work on that for us eh?? :grin01:

Even though #12 is a holdback, for some reason I like little #10. He is an awesome looking normal...

Well, #12 is a holdback for the purpose of what I am trying to do with the line. I don't think he is any better or worse than any of the others, and I agree that little #10 is a cutie. I like the head pattern, very reminiscent of diffusion, but none in the line. #11 has a great expression and #9 is a spitfire, quick, full of personality. So hard to choose, but pattern in this instance did it for me.

I still can't get over how much orange is showing at first shed. Those normals are going to color up something fierce. :D
