The mom quit eating.

I went to feed my snakes again this week and everyone is eating but the girl. Is there any reason why a snake would quit eating? Is it possable she could be pregnant again? I have heard a bit about double clutching. This time they mated, I separated the boy after I found the lump in her body. And did not put them back together until she had like a week or 2 after giving birth. She ate with no problem after giving birth. What could her problem be? Or is she just not hungry?

We are now on the month of July... hmmm.... Is that to late for the breeding season? I noticed that when I placed her old nesting box back in the cage she went straight for it. And noticed him doing The Jerk dance. Can she be getting prog again?

Wait, you seperated them after you noticed she was gravid, and then put them back together after she laid eggs?

Well, of course she could be gravid again. Is your snake big enough to double clutch? How much does she weigh? Age? Most breeders do not encourage their snakes to double clutch as it can be disasterous if the snake does not have the body mass to produce a second clutch of eggs.

I'd strongly suggest that you seperate your snakes for good.

but... but... but...

:shrugs: But I waited 2-3 weeks before puteing them back together. In the past we never had this great of an outcome but we never sepearted them. and the guy never knocked up again... Sorry for the term... It is just how I see that animel kingdom. ;)

Possible shes gravid again. Id take Joe's advice and seperate them for good, unless you wanna continue having double clutchs. And if shes not big enough you do not want to have them together at all, unless you wanna run the risk of killing your snake.

when i feed my snake an adult mouse she doesnt digest it fullu she through up the meal after 2 to 3 dayz
