the saga continues........

Yup, that's exactly why Lil is only going to be a pet, I can't risk her health, or ending up with a whole batch of non-feeders!

One little pinkie, two little pinkie, three little pinkie, four, five little pinkie, six little pinkie, now only a hundred or so more.

One pre-killed hopper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :dancer: :dancer: biggest thing my girlie's ever eaten. It was definately too lively to try live and possibly put her off, so I broke it's neck with haemostats, gave it to her twitching and she didn't hesitate for a minute! :eats02:
Will try this again next feed and then................f/t!

Thanks! At least when I breed the other girls I'll be be pretty damn sure I'll get the hatchlings feeding!

Lil now looks a bit, how shall I say it, PORKY! As she has started to grow in girth instead of length, instead of a skinny worm, she looks like a chipolata! Thank god her head has grown too, so she looks chunky instead of tiny-headed, but all I can do is get some pics after she's digested and see what you think :roflmao:

Here's Porky Lil, 52g at last, and here she is next to my index finger, for comparison

Now I need to persuade her that live pinks, and peaches and stunned hoppers are really the same as f/t..................or expand the mouse production. The mice are on the same breeding cycle, so it's all or nothing in the right size range.Had no live last week so had to force a fuzzy, even though I'd scented it with mouse-bedding. As a bonus though, the other snakes appreciate the spare peaches too.

And another live peach down the hatch last night. It's a bit gruesome because Lil shows no sign of constricting, but at least she does know how to eat now!
