Hey guys I'm looking for more advice !!! Theo had his first ever fuzzy on 1st June moving up from 2 pinkies ,he is now at 34g after his second shed with us last week (brought home 31st Dec first shed 19/04 second shed 29/5 !!!!! Theo regurged small pinky in Feb so we have been taking things very slowly .He seemed to cope well with fuzzy even though it looked massive compared to pinkies I was terrified of another regurge but 5days on its all gone and he has pooed😉 now I have read Munson plan religiously but any advice on how long in between fuzzys would be appreciated ( regurge was our fault feeding to soon) As this was first fuzzy should we wait bit longer? His second shed came very soon after first seen as we waited nearly 4 months for first !! Any advice appreciated Kim x

I should add both sheds been perfect and he has never refused a meal but we have been very aware when he in blue so not fed till shed , in two minds whether we were over feeding which caused regurge but then I feel under feeding as first shed took so long?????? He is such a cool little dude I'm terrified of upsetting him x

I have mine on small fuzzies (3-4 gr) since 2 months or so ago. I make it 7 days between feedings, and it usually takes 2-3 days for him to poop.
Maybe because you had a regurge case you can make it 7 days but slit the fuzzy sides so it's easier to digest?

slit sides

Without sounding like a right donk 😂 can you give me more details on slitting sides ,where about how deep etc , how old is your little guy? If you don't mind me asking and what weight? X

I have never slitted the sides, but I have read some people here recommending it. When still frozen (to avoid mess) take a x-acto knife or some sort of precision cutter and slit the skin, like 2-3 cuts to either side or so. I think the best is that you use the search option and look for other posts on this, since I have never done it.
My guy is now around 8 months old and weighs around 40gr. I must correct myself now looking at my register: I started him on small fuzzies only last month, at around 30gr.

Well, since we are at the start of the month it may be confusing now that I look at it. Started fuzzies on April. Wasn't counting this month yet.

Thanks mishima , we will try him today on another small fuzzy ,weighed him last night and he 36g!!!!!! Putting weight on quickly now!!! Can I ask what viv your wee guy in as we still have Theo in (monkfield terranium 24inch) this was suggested by pet store as he was so tiny ,not sure when to move him up size x

When I bought him I wanted the ExoTerra Faunarium of 18” x 12” x 6 1/2”, but they didn't have it. I was planning on using this up to 1 year or more. Unfortunately, I had to buy the smaller 14” x 8” x 6”, so it got small quickly.
Instead of buying the bigger plastic faun, and since I had the money, I already bought his to-be-lifetime vivarium, an ExoTerra Glass of 36” x 18” x 18”. This is where he is now.
I'm no expert on vivarium sizes, but I have read you should move him up when his lenght is the same or more as the front and one side of the viv.
