thermometer

Where are you? I use a digital thermometer because I just don't trust the dial type (although I'm sure other people love them).

being a 15 year old with no job kind of puts me in a tight spot when it comes to money so I just use the dial type. Mine are all ZooMed and they are combination hygrometer and thermometer.
Most pet shops will have them or if you want the fancy digital kind or something go to like a Radio Shack or Best Buy.

With me being a 15 year old with no job, I got my mum to buy the thermometers Lol. But I'll be 16 in a month and a half so hopefully I'll be able to fully provide for my snakes with my own money- which will be nice.
Actually, for my small hatcling tank I have a T-Rex dial thermometer on the glass. I'm sure it doesn't work because wherever I put it in the house, it stays at almost exactly the same temp. Hmmm. Maybe I'll make my mum take it to London with her tomorrow to see if it works because it's supposed to be a massive 35 degrees (95F).

wow its been 95 for like 5 days in a row here in new york. i went to radio shack tonigh to get a dig. therm. it was a small black one that shows indoor/out door temps (so it can be warm side/cool side) it was 20 buxs....oh ya, it also has suction cups so it can go on side of viv....but ofcourse the radio shack didnt have it in stock...i have to wait :(

I took my T-Rex thermometer outside just now and it said 110 degrees!! Impossilbe!! The actual temp was 80 degrees. But maybe they're just not designed to work outside.
