Hey, my lil guys about 3 to 4 months old, hes a little thicker than a pencil and probably right at a foot long maybe a bit shorter. He wolfs down the pinkies I give him and does a good job of pooing several days later. He's not big enough at all to up his food size, but should I give him two pinkies or is that just over zealous of me ??

P.S. I've made the preassumption that he's a "he" is there any simple way to find out the sex of my snake, no big deal just curious.
 
As for feeding your snake its really hard to tell without a weight. I would recommend going and getting a scram that measures grams and weighing your snake then doing a search here for the Munson plan which will tell you what to feed and how often.

As for your getting your snakes gender you can either pop it or probe it. Your best bet on that is to find a local reptile vet or reputable reptile dealer that could help you sex your snake and teach you how as you will likely be getting more.
 
I would have to say search for the Munson Plan, as was mentioned. I have just started using it myself. I also just bought a scale from the walmart cooking section, weighs in grams and was about $20. Good investment if going to follow the plan.
