Hi all
I'm Ben. I have been lurking around the site for awhile now so I figured id introduce myself. I am a new owner of what I believe is a Okeetee Corn but I am not 100% sure. I will post pictures tomorrow so maybe some of you know-it-alls can help me out:)

Well.. I'm 19 and I recently joined the National Guard. I like to go 4 wheeling, camping, hiking, shooting.. you know all the fun outdoorsy stuff.

Thanks for the great site and awesome information.. I already learned a lot and plan on learning a lot more!:eatpointe

Welcome to the site!
Boston looks like a beautiful normal to me. (Nothing wrong with that either, normals ROCK! I have 5 of them!)
Okeetees have really thick black borders on their saddles.
Do a search and you'll see what I mean.

I would also agree that it looks more normal than Okeetee, but he is a cutie and I love his name :)

Thank you everyone for your help.
Are there major differences between the okeetee and normal?
I do not know too much about snakes as this is my first one and I am just curious if one is better than the other?

there are no major differences. its just that the rings around the spots (called saddles) are darker

okeetee's and normals will grow the same, eat the same, act the same, are exactly the same, just have a slightly different pattern. sorta like a dalmation with six spots and a dalmation with five spots. they are the same, just look a little different.
