Yup- It's not easy living up to our "choker" reputation. But we somehow always find a way. Unfortunately I missed the game, but caught the highlights last night. Both batting performances were horrible. South Africa more horrible than England.

In a way I think South Africa needed a loss (getting a bit cocky), and England really needed this win to stay in the tournament. So all in all a good result for the tournament. Well done England!
 
I thought we were on for a 10 wicket defeat.

watched sri lanka today, They started with 282 for the 1st wicket, and somehow only managed 326. It was always going to be enough against zimbabewe of course. lol
 
this world cup is a mess lol..
England lose to Ireland and Bangladesh, then beat SA and draw with India... then SA beat India..
this group has been much better to watch than the other one.. and still no one knows who will go through,.
 
The South Africa VS India game was a cracker. That's how 50 over cricket should be. I'm not sure what to think of England, they're letting themselves down big time. That being said South Africa still needs to play both Ireland and Bangladesh. I can't see us blowing it to the extent of England, but at least we have a guide on what not to do.
 
Its unreal, England seemed to produce and win the games they should have lost, and lose the games that they should have won easily.
What happened to SA last night???. having bowled out every team you played, even gto NZ at 221-8 at 50 overs... then at 108-2 was it?, to lose by almost 50 runs?... that word is coming again. lol

as for England?, bad start V Sri lanka, getting it together a bit now on a really bad pitch, very low scoring game I can see.
England at 130 odd for 3 so far.. 200 would be the min from here, although I would have taken 200 25 overs ago lol.
I cant see us winning it really..
If sri lanka wins, then it will show really that the advantage was always with the asain teams, with Pakistan and India through, that would be 3 of the last 4 from asia.
Only Bangladesh, and they actually played pretty well and didnt miss out on the 1/4 finals by much.
 
well, at least you took wickets lol.. looks like we're going to lose by 10 wickets with about 20 overs to spare.. bit of a beating.
The average score on that pitch is 195 runs..
