Tomarow Is Feeding Day (The First One)

Hunter2011

The fun begins!
Ok, so tomarow is the first feeding day for my new baby corn snake!:crazy02:
So anybody got any tips for me? I think she is doing fine because right now she is crawling arround in her VIV, so I think that is a good sign right? Like that she isn't too stressed out? Well in any case, I hope that the pinkies I got are good! And I will give you all a progress report tomarow!!!!:dancer::dancer::dancer:

I would sure to thaw the pink out in warm water and feed her in a separate container without substrate (so she doesn't ingest the substrate). Maybe hold the pink a bit away from her, but not so close as to scare her. Or you could leave the pink in the container with the cover on and let her eat that way. Please make sure that the closed container (if you use it) has airholes in it. Good luck :) This must be exciting for you.

Yeah it's exciting and scary, because I'm afraid that she won't eat, but hopefully she will, Kathy Love said that she ate fine for her so, fingers crossed! :)

good luck

hope it does eat but dont get stressed out if it doesnt cause it possible just leave her with it over night and if still nothing try again in a couple of days

It will be OK

I just fed my new corn yesterday for the first time and I know exactly how you feel. I was nervous too. Finally everything went very well. I fed it a defrosted pinky that I brained first, just to make sure, and I left it in front of it's hide. 5 mins later it was gone. Not bad for a snake that never hate dead food before. (the breeder fed all is baby corn live food for convenience...)

I wich you good luck but I'm sure everything is gonna be fine.
