Too cold??

I switch out ice packs twice a day in my Viv because Temps in there are 88 both sides. I have noticed that my girl has found it and crawls between the paper towel and the pack and stays there. When I pick her up she is super cold. But then when I put her back she will always go right back to it. Normal? Too cold?

I think you're doing the right thing with the ice packs.

If she is cold when you pick her up, that just means she's colder than your ~98 degree ambient temperature. A snake could be over-heating at 88 and still feel cool to the touch.

Hope that helps!
