too cold?

xerxes

addict
i recently redid xerxes's viv because my mom was going to throw away a plastic 9X13 pan and i thought i could turn it into a hide. so i cut a hole in it, put it in on the cold side, and he loves it. I'm thinking that its not a big deal but he's always in there and I'm getting worried that he might get too cold. is this something i should worry about or am i just being paranoid?

here's a picture of what it looks like.

No worries. As long as Xerxes has a warm side to choose from, he is fine.

By the way, great use of something that your mom was gonna throw away!

Most of mine hang out at the cool side all the time and only go over to the warm side when digesting or feeling off-colour.

It's best to have at least two hides - one on the warm side and one on the cool side. That way he can choose where he wants to be and still feel safe (they seem to choose safety over the correct temp if they don't get a choice).
