Im a little worried my new corn is too small..it weighs in at 18 grams..I got him 2 weeks ago seems to eat well one pinkie every 4 days..The pet store didnt know exactly when it hatched..I have read alot in the forum and all the other snakes from '05 seem to be much heavier..should i maybe feed it 2 pinkies or maybe go to fuzzies?? Its about 14-15" long..Thanks for the help
 
He could be very young, and/or they probably only fed him weekly. Sometimes pet stores don't even bother to make sure they've eaten at all, just throw a pinkie in. I have got one '05 that is very small, he's just a small guy. Every 5 days is a good amount of time for the little ones. :cheers:
 
at that size id say give him a fuzzie or two:) My baby is the same size and is pounding fuzzies like u wouldnt believe lol.
 
by the way what age is your lil one...i tried feedin him 2 pinkies today and he didnt seem interested..i think maybe they werent warm enough,,ill try again later or tomorrow..can i keep the thawed pinkies in the fridge?? for a day

You weren't reading Dean's posts were you. Dean's 05's are huge!!! I'm sure everything is fine with your little one :) And remember, you can go with a prey item that is 1.5 times the diameter of your snake.
