• Hello!

Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.

Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....

Please be certain that the location field is correctly filled out when you register. All registrations that appear to be bogus will be rejected. Which means that if your location field does NOT match the actual location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected.

Sorry about the strictness of this requirement, but it is necessary to block spammers and scammers at the door as much as possible.

Here, we have pet sitting services you can hire to come in however often you want to take care of your pets. You usually have to set up an appointment with them ahead of time so they have time to come by and learn what you want them to do. I've never actually used one, but have considered it when I've needed to be gone from the mammals for a weekend. If you live in a city, this shouldn't be too difficult to find.

It's a good idea to ask first if they do reptiles. Our cat-sitting caretaker told me she'd tried to care for a lizard before, but even a reptile with legs creeped her out too much.

Instead of relying on your sister to change the water in a weeks time, coiuld you call her to remind her. Just a suggestion. Not sure how old she is and if she could/would do this.
