Tried to burrow into my arm

My approx. 9 month old corn was moving across my arm while handling and it really seemed like he made 2 attempts to burrow into my arm as if it were substrate.

He literally put his head down and tried to move downwards into my arm, twice.

Anyone else have this happen to them ?

Anyone know why a corn would do this ? Is it b/c it doesn't realize the surface it's moving across is me ? Or will a corn try to burrow into any surface if it's fleeing a predator instinctively whether the surface permits it or not ?

My little ultramel does that! He tries to burrow into the palm of my hand. I have no idea why though, I though he may be doing it because he knows my fingers will part if he presses on them and he figured the crease in my hand would do the same? It was cute though!
 
Some of mine have tried to do that. The only one who is really still doing it is my new baby carpet python, who truly and deeply loves to get into clothes or pockets and curl up in the warmth for an hour or so. I think they just take a while to understand that our skin doesn't do that, and they have to look for something else if they want to burrow.

It is cute, though.
