Hello!
I have been breeding corns for the past few years, and something amazing is happening tonight........ my oldest breeding female is laying her [/B]third clutch of the year!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't find any info on third clutches, I've never heard of it, but she's doing it now! Rosie is a classic corn het. for hypo & motley, about 7 years old, and she (as all of my corns do) have already laid two clutches. Her first was 35 eggs on 5-31-10, her second was 20 eggs on 7-18-10, and now she's laying again!!! I was already getting worried about her, because she hasn't eaten for a month (very unusual) and is already very thin from her first two clutches! Well now I know why she wasn't eating! So far it looks like she's close to another 20 eggs, however they all look like slugs. Has anyone ever heard of this, or experienced it???
