twitching and constricting

ok i took sheba out today and when i was trying to measur her with a stick she got really scared and started to dart around on my bed so i picked her up to calm her down and she started twitchng the started to constrick aroun my fingers and wrist. i know that the constrict a littel to hold on but this was like trying to squeez off my fingers constricting did i just spook her or what?
 
She might have felt very scared. it's almost impossible to measure snakes (unless you use the measuring program) because they wriggle so much.
 
if u want to measure her...

if u want to measure her, take a piece of string and run it down her spine... its the easiest way to measure live animals... esp. snakes!:)
