They come from two different lines. The first from a more outcrossed one.

They're both beautiful! I think the second one is my favorite as well. What's left of her black makes a nice contrast with the rest of her colors.

I DO like the outcrossed ones! Very nice female, I think bennihc has a pretty nice male for her ;) his male is also outcrossed and doesn't show black on his saddles. In my opinion, MUCH prettier than the regular okeeteelike sunkisseds!

I'll have to disagree with you on that Stephan. To my eyes the "okeetee look" ones is more beautiful because the colors (ground and saddle) are more intense. Not so washed out.And I have also noticed that they tend to give more colorful F1 and F2's... Other than that it's on the eye of the beholder... :)

Let me show you another pic that I have posted again...
The male,almost two years back.

Both are stunning! I have no favorite type of Sunkissed and am really not sure yet how I like breaking the morph up into different groups based on their look.

What a stunner........he looks very much like a pair of sunkissed okeetee's I got from Joe Pirece a couple of years ago

They just get brighter as they get older

The outcrossed one is from Joe. The others are from Marc Vervest (aka mvervest here) and not (at least closely) related to Joe's.
Most of the sunkisseds in Europe are from Marc or Joe I believe..

Bare in mind that the sunkissed gene was first discovered in okeetees (Kathy Love's I think). And at first were referred as "hypomelanistic okeetees" if I'm not wrong.
They look familiar because they are not so outcrossed and the "okeetee" influence (black saddle borders, more intense bright colors) is still pretty strong. :)
