"ultimate hypo", New Morph???

If you know it so well, why do you ask then? What exactly is your question. You say you bought it as an ultramel, but it does not proove out, so you might question your breeder about it. Dont go mad when I say it aint an ultramel. I will try to snap a picture of an ultramel I picked out at Rich table.

Sorry everyone for the late reply, but work, snakes and friend took all my time thiw week.

First of all, I will like to add that I am the first one who is sceptical about these snakes, the guy who sold them and the story he told me.
Personally I don't think that this really is a new morph, but with this topic I would like to get input from as many people as possible.
Off course some things will be unanswered, until the breeding season of 2009.

@ Pro reptile:
Thanks for you reply.
I will send you a PM, maybe you can clear things up 'in private'
(plus we can talk dutch, so it types faster;))

@ Slangenbroed:
As you know, I know about your story.
But you've got your "ultramel" from a different person.
Mine 'ultimates' were sold by a french guy, yourse from a belgium guy/

I am not going mad, but saying hybrid is maybee to soon.
I had contact the breeder and he has two lines one ultramel- anery and one ultramel-caramel and both are from USA Daytona.Ultarmel-anery is from SMR and the other maybee but all his animals are from the usa.

But maybee from the same breeder!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That could be possible.

But I have had contact with ProReptile.
His story combined with what I have already heard, I think that I don't want to go any further with this line.
There is no 100% guarantee that they are hybrids, but there are to many "maybe's" and "perhapses" that I don't think it would be wise for me to breed a lot of so called 'ultimate hypos'.

The question that stays is: What happens to all the animals already produced? Do we really know who already bred T+ and that stuff into european lines?
I think it's good to hear that you will stop producing animals with questionable background and we can only hope, that some of the other guys also stop spreading animals with that kind of background.

Totaly agree;)

People have to learn and understant that they respect the hobby. And always be honest with wat they breed!!!

I know Josua for a long time, I know for sure that he never sell snake's without to tell HONEST what they are. Josua don't like hybrids, I have respect that he post the whole story and to be honest.

I do not doubt that and I think thats all one can do as a breeder.

I just want to tell you a little story about 1/2 Bloodreds. These are animals that hatched at Daniel Bohles Sulfur line and in some of my Bloodred lines of mine. They have checkers on the sides of their belly, very low diffusion and at that time, we did not know what they were. (now, its quite sure that they are hom diffused and some sort of "bloodred") So, Daniel sold one of these 1/2 Butter Bloodreds and told the guy the complete story, that one cannot know for sure, one should expect them to be maybe het. bloodred or even not Blood. 12h later, the first pictures of these animal were floating around in the internet, labeling it as Butter Bloodred.

This sort of thing makes me very, very nervous when I think about the amount of "Ultramel", T+ etc etc etc. animals floating around in europe.
