So I was holding Treasure, and he did something I'm never seen before. At first I thought he was deficating on me, had his tail up and did the typical little pause. But it wasn't defication. There were 2 globs of white gooey stuff with a little blood in them, then 2 more globs of white gooey stuff. Did he just release semen plugs on my hand? ~,~

Figured I'd add that hes been acting very odd this week. He's been super active, and has refused his last 2 meals. All he wants to do is rub his face on everything he sees. Think hes going nuts hehe

Yep, he's a male. As you guessed, he spooged on you.

All of the behavior you described is very typical of my males during breeding season.

GAH!!!! Why me? I have a cat that does this to me all the time (he gets yelled at and shut in the bathroom) now I have a snake that "loves" me too! *bangs head on wall* LOL Think they're trying to give my boyfriend competition hehe.

No, my only female is 517 miles away hehe. Maybe I naturally smell like a girl snake? ~,~ All I know is he's looking at me like "Come on, hold me" and I'm thinking no way mister! LOL

i'm thankful my snakes are still babies...
and adult snakes can go awhile without eating...i've heard that they can go 4 weeks without food.

I know that he could go months without food just fine.. little bugger is 350 grams hehe. Just hate when he doesn't eat ~,~

So is it normal for a yearling to act like this? For some reason I thought they usually did this a little later in life hehe... wishful thinking possibly...

Mine went 3 months last year and did just fine. The only time he "splooged" was when I tested him on my known female....yup...he was a male. I later probed him to be certain but he was pretty obvious. I'm hoping for a better reaction this year than the one my female gave him last year. She obviously wasn't in the mood.....rape whistle was going, and she was yelling something about statuatory rape!
