Unusual portrait! ARTWORK

Hi guys, sorry if this is a late reply to when you guys posted, i haven't got any e mail responses telling me that i have had replies on this thread!

Thank you so much for your nice comments about my work, i don't want anyone to think that i am fishing for compliments or anything like that when i put new work on i just like to share what i have done and for you guys to take the time to reply on the thread is really nice!
I tried to make the purple guy kind of unisex, hence the big shiny eyes and the eyelashes, long hair, but there is quite a masculine jay line there that kind of makes you wonder if it is fully one sex or the other.

I have decided that i dont like the last piece that i uploaded so much (the dark orangey with the teeth), i dont know why, i think i made it way to dark!
anyway guys thanks again for posting!

Really like all of your work. You do an excellent job giving the eyes so much life, which really draws you into understanding the portraits, rather than finding them unusual or odd.

I haven't been on the CPU in a long while, I've also been really deep into my artwork for the past few month.

And don't feel hesitant to keep posting. I don't see it as fishing for compliments. Actually I think it shows more humbleness to share it with so many people. I really appreciate you posting your work... keep it up.
 
I spent a good few hours on this one over the last few days, i am really pleased with the overall look of this one i think its one of my best so far. I am really pleased with how the green has come out!
