Useing Tubes as hide...

I don't see why not... Can you open both ends to clean them out easily?

My adult love paper towels tubes, just absolutely loves them. Another cheaper option is also PVC pipe, no sharp edges (you might want to sand them down).

But I think long, round hides are definitely popular with corn snakes. :)

Yep both ends are opened because they're meant to connect to other tubes. They also pull apart into two half for easier cleaning. I have a long paper towel roll I'll use for now because all the tubes I have are being used by my stingy mouse Jasper. :) But that's good to know! Also if you add turns and such and made an under ground "maze"/tunnel do you think it would be used?

I bet they'd probably use an underground tunnel system, but I gotta tell you - they really enjoy making their OWN tunnels. ;)

I'm considering a project with PVC pipe covered in some sort of natural material, maybe tree bark, as I like that look. I'll be sure to let you know if I ever get down to it.

Doesn't PVC out gas? Maybe it was some other plastic I dunno, definitely look into that before you put it in there though.
