Greetings people, it is me! Ze little newb you all miss, well what can i say SCHOOL!!! the school insists i have a day off tomorrow, "dont know why" but i wont disagree, think it may be to be with my major cold! anyways i have done a little search but i havent got ze time to look totally into it, just a quick question, will a 1ft uth be okay for a 3ft viv? and also the glue dried now, and the smell has gone everything seems fine, and he is doing great so i dont think its effecting him, and tbh i have 8 air vents in his new viv so fresh air flows freely!

A UTH should cover up to 1/3 of the bottom, so I certainly wouldn't put a bigger one in there. I prefer less than a third myself.
Cheers!

It'll do fine, just keep your eye on the temps, especially if you have 8 vents. o.o;

An undertank heater is probably called such for a reason. ;)

Not trying to be negative or anything! Just trying to figure out if it's a good idea for it to be *inside* the tank. :)

If you're using a uth inside the viv, get a large ceramic tile and put it on top so he can't go under, and it will spread the heat better too.
