UTH

How much of the viv should your UTH cover? My viv is 18x18 and currently have an 8x8 UTH. Is this ok?

Also keep in mind that although that tank will be great for a hatchling/juvenile snake it is not large enough for an adult who will need a minimum of a 20L which are approximately 30'' long.

The one I have now is just for her as she grows, I get half price off of Exoterra stuff so its an 18x18x18 Exoterra viv. When she needs a new home Exoterra this year has brought out a long viv, perfect for snakes. She will move to that and my Snow will take her old one.

I think that should be alright as long as it covers aprox 1/3 of the surface area. Just check to make sure you can have a hot side around 80-85 and a cold side around 75-80

Sounds good, I also wish I could get Exterra stuff 1/2 off. When I worked at a pet store, I could only get 20% off! Maybe it was because I was part time.
