My tank is 20gal.

80cm long
35cm wide
40cm high

Buying a 20 gal zoo med uth will fit ok? or I can get a better uth, which one you recommend??
 
You should be just fine.

Do you have a thermostat or at least a rheostat you plan on conecting your UTH to?

Oh I never thought of putting that.... just thermometer and hygrometer to check... How do I put a thermostat to my uth? the zoo med uth heats enough?
 
You plug the UTH into the thermostat and use the thermostat to regulate the power that is sent to the UTH.

Something like this...

An unregulated UTH will be way too hot for your...cornsnake I assume.

Have you read any books on the basic husbandry requirements of...again I assume a cornsnake?

Oh I see.... I haven't read any book but I know the temp it has to have, te uth will give more of the heat needed right? I think I'll buy the regulator
 
I wouldn't say a thermostat is completely necessary, I had my setup for ages without one. And I know lots of people don't use them, they just position/time the UTH so the correct temp is reached. But it is a good idea.
 
Well when you plug it in the heater is constantly on, it's sorta common sense because you need to make sure that the heater which can get to over 100* isn't constantly on.
