I'm looking for ideas for vivs that are valentines day themed. I'm wanting to get a salmon snow for the Mrs. and set up the entire viv as a valentines day theme as a surprise for her. I plan on giving places like Dollar Tree and other such stores for decorations that I can modify into vivs but any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
 
You definitely need a few heart-shaped boxes for hides. And they make pink and white CareFresh. You could get red and white and pink silk flowers for decorations. I bet if you looked hard enough you could find a heart shaped candy dish or water bowl.
 
That is such a cute idea! My heart would melt if my bf thought of something like this for me^^ ...plus salmon snows are one of the prettiest morphs in my opinion.,your gal is lucky!
 
Props to you! I would be thrilled if I were her! You could definitely buy some of those colored aquarium stones in red, pink, or clear and make a climbing wall in the back. Those are shiny and different. Also, I would check Hobby Lobby for silk flowers.
 
Yeah I think I'll have to order the bedding online and the silk flowers won't be a problem at any dollar store around here, I'm going to look at decorations and see what shows up in the local store I'm hoping to find some hearts or some neat decorations for climbing and a water bowl.
 
Aquarium places have fake plants and some are in 'weird' colors like red and pink.... What about wrapping the hides in valentine themed wrapping paper?
 
Check the small mammal section, too-Wadjet has a bright pink hide that I think is intended for guinea pigs.
 
Unless she doesn't like chocolate, you could get those little heart shaped boxes that are full of chocolate and fill a candy dish next to the viv with them. Then use the empty boxes for decoration. Then put a small vase of pink, red & white carnations on the other side.
