I spruced up Kim Lei's viv today with some purchases from our local herp shop. Got some of those Fluker's bamboo bars (we have those in the ATB viv, too, and they're great!) and some fake vines and plants.

I am a little strapped for time at the moment, so I didn't cut the vine into seperate pieces, or permanently attach it to the viv in any way. I'm also out of my plain black paper for the background. Blah!

But as soon as I put all this into her viv, she was out cruising around, checking it out. She is hands down the most active, inquisitive snake we are currently keeping. :)

Thanks Trent and Hallie- she is great!!

It's a little too haphazard and bushy for my tastes. She loves it though. I was just finishing packing and she was out cruising all along the bamboo bars... she also was testing the screen lid. Little devil-- good thing I have some hella strong clips on there, and the double light!

They are very active snakes, so fun to watch!! The enclosure looks great.

Don't thank me, she was Trent's snake, I just let him know you were looking for one. I'm glad you gals like her. :)

Great setup, Lauren! VBB's are gorgeous, and the enclosure seems like a fitting home for such a great snake. BTW, I love those vines, and the cave thingy on the back looks SO cool.

The cave is one of those magnaturals. We are using the ledges for my water dragon and really love them!!

Is that a glass aquarium? I love the way magnaturals look but I worry they'll crack a glass tank.

Why would they crack a glass tank?

The ledges and all are made out of foam and held in place with magnets... if you are careful when putting the magnets on, I'd think the risk minimal.

Awesome Lauren! How is she settling in? Still a little devilish? Lol

That looks great, I'm sure she will love it. I didn't have any vines for her, but branches that I caught her on.. I'm sure she's loving it.
