I'm Me, Deal With It
ok, i feed my 2 1/2 old snow corn once a week. this week he ate 5 pinkies!! :eek1:

next week i am gonna switch to fuzzies, but how many should i feed?

5 pinkies throught the week or in one feeding? That seems way too much for a corn that young; just because they will eat doesnt mean they can handle it, and I wouldnt be suprised if it ends up in a regurge. Its food should only make a slight lump in it, which you should use to judge the size or amount of feedings. Start with one fuzzy at first and if it doesnt show you can try two next time.

If it can eat 5 pinkies, it was ready for fuzzies a while ago. Go ahead and start with one small fuzzy, and when it no longer leaves a lump, move up to hoppers.

And basically, you only feed a snake one food item on a schedule feeding day, unless your are trying to bump your snake up to the next size.

schedule

Once a week is good, but as stated above, if it is eating five pinkies at a feeding you definitely want to move up to one fuzzie.

My personal feeding schedule:
Start with one pinkie a week.
When that no longer leaves a noticeable bulge I move to two pinkies.
When they no longer leaves a noticeable bulge I move up to one fuzzie.
Then two fuzzies
then one hopper
then two hoppers
then one adult.
Once I get to one adult I stay at one adult.
works for me and my snakes

regurge

If your snake is eating five pinkies at a feeding I doubt you will have a regurge problem with it.
Sounds to me like it has a good healthy digestion rate.
I like the previous answer.
"I'd say you'll know your safe when it comes out the other end"
can't argue with that one....LOL
