how long after a rats water breaks can i expect pups?

i went in to check on my pregnant female and noticed her water must have broken this afternoon. i dont want to keep checking on her so i figured i would ask here.
 
i needed something out of that room so i peeked in to make sure it was "Safe", and she was sitting up like she was giving birth so i rushed out...lol
 
They'll give birth very quickly. But most of the time they'll do it sometime when they know there is no chance they'll be disturbed. In the middle of the night or so on. My one pet rat who had a litter had it in the middle of the night and when we were raising rats for biology class they always had them over a weekend.

There is a good chance she will have them very soon, probably throughout the night. They tend to have them at night for some reason, probably to do with security.
