Very worried momma

I had my baby corn escape after two months. I found snake poop on my counter by my kitchen sink and I am worried that he went down the drain or disposal. I have searched the disposal but no sign. As I am very new to caring for a corn I am hoping this isn't the case. Could Jake survive in the pipes? Would he have rather dropped to the floor avoiding the dark damp sink all together? I have set traps and looked in all the places. My son, age 9 is totally deflated and worried as am I. I will just keep setting traps and hoping for the best. Thanks for any feedback.

We thought the same fate of our first corn. We actually took the drain pipes apart and searched to no avail. It's been 6 weeks for us, and we've seen no sign of her :(
Our kids were devestated and we've spent many, many nights searching the house high and low with flashlights. We've given up on the food traps, but I still have toilet paper rolls all over my house with little water dishes. Hoping for the best.

I've heard more success stories than unsuccessful, so don't give up! Our friend and petstore owner lost her corn one summer, and found him alive and well-fed burrowed in her garden TWO years later! And were in Canada....winters are cold!!
Many find their baby snakes months later, so I'm still hopeful we will find ours somewhere, however I still think she went down the drain

Before giving up, place the really heavy duty painters tape double sided along all your walls. Snakes like to hug walls and they'll end up stuck on the tape. You can remove the tape from them when you find them!

I think Jake went down the drain too but I am staying hopeful that he will show up. I have toilet paper rolls and his hide under his heat lamp with water. I still miss him. :(

To add don't just rip the tape off if your snake should get stuck. Use olive oil or something to gently remove the tape. I know that Alicat knows this, I just thought I would share for those that don't.

When my guy went missing in the room i thought he was in, i placed a heatmat down on the floor, an f/t mouse and a hide. I then covered the floor with a light sprinkling of flour. The idea was, i'd repeat this every few days for a week or so and eventually he'd get hungry and be attracted to the mouse. He'd eat it and decide to stay in the warm hide. if he moved away there'd be tracks in the flour so i'd know if he was around and where ish. If he didn't take the mouse but still moved around i'd still see his tracks. In the end i found him while rooting in a drawer but that method worked for several people i know.

i don't leave it any longer than 24 hours - less so with the heat. I'd leave it out overnight and move it in the morning
