hiya guys just wondering if any of you have got any ideas to improve the look of my viv, its lukin pretty boring as it was a starter kit. iv got reptibark as a substrate, a few small pieces of wood as hides, a toilet roll also, and a plastic plant....NOT very exciting lol if any of you have any links to any good products that the snake will love, which also look gud let me know! thanks! :wavey:

I really like the "natural" rock-looking hides and water bowls by Exo-Terra. The bowls are nice and heavy and a little deep so the snakes can crawl in for a soak or over and around them without knocking it over.

You said you have a plastic plant.. here's some plastic vines

A nice, solid grapewood branch is a must have. My corn absolutely LOVES it; she sleeps on the branch more than inside her cave. It's also helpful when it comes time to shed. LLLReptile has a few sizes to choose from--pick one from the link.

Some people even take aquarium backgrounds and adhere them to the back of their terrarium (if it's glass or clear acrylic).

I hope these ideas help! The possibilities are really limitless, limited only to what's safe for the snake. :) Enjoy!

I didn't see any pictures if there were supposed to be, sorry. A background adds alot to the look of your viv. I also have baskets turned upside down, climbing trees, and fake vines in mine. They look very natural.

maybe add some more silk plants or a vine like JT said, these all look great in a viv, and your snake will love it

The Exo Terra products are really nice, especially the cave hides. Sure beats a bowl with a hole on top. I got a good price on an xtra large cave hide (11" x 10.5" x 5") for $9.79 from pet solutions on the web. And to further improve the look of the old viv, get a water dish that looks like a rock. And you can't go wrong with silk plants.
