Vivarium question

Ok when I brought some of my snakes they came with glass vivariums but as we didnt need because we had built our own we used them for the mice. Anyway now due to me moving I am dwindling down my mice. I am also selling some of the snakes.

Anyway my question is if i completly clean both vivs out and completly disinfect them can they then be used for snakes again as a couple of people have asked whether I have viv available too. I am just concerned it will drive the snakes mad if they can smell mice I was planning on completly washing them out then disifecting them then using glass cleaner to get rid of all smells, what do you think ????????

I had the same question awhile back....it can be done, just make sure you clean the tanks very well (nothing toxic either :))

I've used a tank that previously held mice. I cleaned it out, let it air out and then repeated. It acted like any other cornsnake introduced to a new home.

ok cool I will take them on my roof terrace once I have cleaned them all out then give them a good wash over and can leave them up there to air then will do it all over again.
