Walkie Walkie

Green Bean

Reptile Chick
My anery, Phantom, decided to go for a stroll on either Wednesday or Thursday and he's been MIA since then.

His feeding day was Wednesday and he ate, and I think I say him lounging around on Thursday. I went to change his water today only to find him missing. The lid didn't seem loose on the setrlite I had him in...

I set up a bottle trap and looked around the area with no luck. We do have two cats so I'll be keeping an eye on them... Flour is outta the question, we have carpeted floors in the bedroom (where he lives).

I feel like such a bad snake mommy. I know it happens, but still...

I do have a question. I had two extra pinks in the freezer so I put them in the bottle, but he normally feeds on large fuzzies, should I be defrosting a fuzzy and putting it in the bottle instead?

Lets hope we find him...

P.S. I was reading past escapee threads and someone mentioned something called a Bulldog Clip. What is that? The clips with the black thing and two metal 'handles'?

Not sure if that's what a "Bulldog" clip is, but the clip you are describing works great to keep lids on sterilites...Either pinks or fuzzies in the trap bottle also...Good luck, try searching closest to where his cage was and work your way out...

I found him!

Well guys I tore apart my room looking for him and ended up finding in at the other end of the room, curled up on top of some junk. I gave him a good talking to and some water. Since he was only missing for a few days I'll keep him on his normal feeding schedule.

Thanks to all for your support.

Glad you found him Layna. But be aware, he remembers how he got out the 1st time and will attempt it again and again until repetition tells him otherwise. Here's a picture of what you need, binder clips. You can get them just about anywhere. I use them on all my Sterilites that are not in a rack.

Thanks all-

Yeah Danny, he's been hanging out near the back of the container all day and night, lol. But I made sure it was locked this time and will be picking up a bunch of those clips this week.
