Warmth Questions

Fact Searcher
Hi!

Been quite some time since I first joined, but have not had a question so far that I have been able to find the answer too myself. But. I am wondering.

Warmth and heating....what do I need for two future snakes in a (length)100cm (bred)50cm depth(50cm) terrarium when it comes to warmth and heating?

And how many watt shall these things be at?

I've heard that I do not need light to a corn snake; the room's light itself is good enough....is that true?

I've not bought my snakes yet, but hopefully that will happen the 26th August at Expo-Syd in Sweden. *Longing*

Would really appreciate any help at all, and I thank you in advance :)

Cheers!

You can use an Under tank heater for all your heating needs and nothing more. They do not need full spectrum lighting for health. Natural light is fine. Two snakes will need two tanks unless you plan to split the tank into two seperate sections. Mid 80's warm side, mid 70's cool.
