I am having at least one minor surgery, a laproscopic, but I may need another surgery on my ankle, which could be pretty invasive with a long down time, in the next few months, and also plan on moving. Right now, I am staying with my mom while she recovers from cervical cancer (she hates snakes)

These are my reasons for waiting to purchase a corn snake, very good valid reasons. But all those for sale ads, and hatchling photos are making this very hard. At 29 years old; I should have better impulse control! It's so hard to wait... Okay, done with the whining. :sobstory:

Honestly, the hardest part is the waiting. The surgeries are nothing major and I am not worried about them. My mom will be fine, in remission, and doing really well, otherwise I would not be moving. But I want a snake now! I torture myself with this site, vmsherp.com, serpenco.com, cornutopia.com and various other sites. It's pretty funny, actually. I look, put things in my cart... x out, sigh... repeat.

LOL! Been there done that! So I completely understand. I certainly send you and your mom all my best wishes and heartfelt thoughts. Recover soon!

BTW, remember that by waiting, you'll leave yourself the opportunity to make the BEST choices.
