Was the shed eaten?

Okay, so the other day my snake had really milky eyes, they looked like cataracts (so this meant a shed was due) This was on 3/3 and I checked on him yesterday and he looked like he had shed but upon examination of the viv i wasn't able to find the shed... :uhoh: So is it possible that he ate it? I had also fed him 2 pinkies on 3/3. Could his eyes just have been milky for another reason? I've had him for almost a month but he is yet to shed in my care.

Thanks for the help,
Brian.

They don't shed right after their "blue" phase usually a week to ten days later so you probably have a week or so before the actual shed.

After being "blue" for a few days your snake will go back to looking normal, even though he has not shed yet. I believe it has something to do with releasing oils from the skin, something that makes them a little more slippery and able to wriggle out of the loose skin. In a few days he will shed and then you will find the skin.
