So, I've had RB since Saturday now. I had a fairly large water bowl in his tank.. by that I mean a couple inches high, as I was supposed to get a shallow dish at the reptile shop, but forgot it (d'oh!) and this was the smallest they had.
In those four days, I haven't seen him use the bowl, but assumed he must have been, as there was bits of wood in it
BUT, I just put a shallower bowl in there, on the other side, as I was worried about the humidity, and almost as soon as my hand was out of the tank, he was climbing over his hide and had his head in it.
Was he simply exploring or was the previous bowl too big, and he's gone without for four days?
Sorry for these constant posts, but there was nothing in the manual about how "tall" water bowls should be, and I was worried he might have been not drinking
