weight and eating issues

Did it come from a breeder? I would call who ever you got the snake from and let them know what is going on. They can tell you exactly how they feed and maybe if that baby needed any tricks to get him to eat.

so the snake died.

i took it back last week monday (2/1/12) and the shop tryed to help it and a it died on the thursday 5/1/12. i spent alot of time with the shop owner going over my set up and stuff. not sure what caused it to die but there are a few reasons we came up with. that night i went home and done some changes, the shop owner was very good and knew his stuff. we bought a new snake home on the friday (6/1/12) today i tryed to feed the snake and it fed quite happy.

Sorry to hear that, some snakes just aren't feeders. The sad part is some stores rather than putting them out of their misery if they refuse to eat, will just sell it on to a new owner and assume it isn't their problem anymore. Bad for the snake, bad for the new owner and a bad reflection on the store imo.

I hope your new snake will live a long and happy life.
