im wondering if theres a way to trick a corn into thinking its spring? maybe by using more light and maybe bumping up heat a bit. or is it all a season thing and they have a mental calender and will do as they please.
My corn is kind of in brumation. i say kind of as he hasnt eaten much this winter, he takes a meal and will be in his warm hide for a while and then would go to the cold side for a month or so and refuse and do it again. but im just wondering if corns would do this during winter instead of full brumation. i know that spring is coming soon and hoping he'll become more alive again. nothings wrong with him, hes still calm and handleable. he does tail rattle at me at first sight now as like hes startled or woke him, but i like to check on him since hes a pet. hes still good weight and doesnt look thin.
sorry that it sounds weird since i dont know much about brumation as i dont breed and my beardies did it on their own too but theyre back awake again. i just want my corn back awake and more active and eating again.
thanks for any input.
