I've got a very aggressive eater and last night instead of tipping his feed box over and sliding him out into my hands I forgot who I was dealing with and he nipped the tip of my finger. I saw it all happen in slow motion and thought to myself right before he got me stupid he's getting ready to try to eat your finger for a 2nd somewhat much larger meal, anyways as much as I've always told friends if it happens don't freak out well ... He bit and yep I pulled back it kinda tossed him out of his shoe box and out onto the bed we so he didn't land on anything hard or fall very far at all if he went more than a foot up I'd be surprised. I picked him up held him looked him over he seemed fine and active. His jaw didn't look displaced and he wasn't bleeding or anything out of the ordinary like I hurt his teeth. What do I need to watch for I mean could I have hurt him he didn't loose his dinner as of this morning he seemed fine.

I've been bitten a lot of times, and I always pull back despite being told not to (but come on, something quickly goes near your hand, how do you train yourself not to pull back?) I would just watch for swelling that would indicate he lost a few teeth, but I've never had issues with that. Feed normally and if he eats fine, all should be good :) That's my experience.
