hi all

i have just added a snow corn to my collection he is about six months old he is feeding on two fuzzies a week is this two soon or about right.

hm..rather than age, it usually helps to know the length. When mine was 6 months I think he was on 1 pinkie every 5 days but he was only 12 inches long.

sorry guys he is about 15 inches long. not sure if he is six months only going on what shop have said

Only 15 inches?

If the snake is only 15 inches long I would say that 2 fuzzies at once is wayyyy too much. How long after you feed him does he poop? Usually it takes around 2 to 4 days. If it's taking longer than that he's having a harder time digesting. My corn is 20 inces and she couldn't handle 2 fuzzies a week. IMHO, 2 is too much unless you are power feeding for a reason. Still, power feeding isn't good for them either.

The rule I've always used for feeding young cornsnakes is. Feed one or two mice of appropriate size once or twice a week. The appropriate size is 25% larger in girth than the snake. IMHO
