This is probably one of the most disgusting things, I have every seen on the BOI!

I have created a couple of threads on this forum, regarding the closing of the BOI. Something that looks more and more probable, as the days go by. This thread and the person it's about, is the reason why the BOI needs to be saved. I am saying this, because if it closes down, then this thread disappears and this guy is given a "Get Out Jail, Free" Card. Does he deserve that?

I am turning to my fellow members of CS.com. Please consider helping, if you can!

The sad thing is he did a similar thing to a turtle, which is brought up later in the thread. That turtle didn't die, but lost it's foot. He then shipped it anyway to his customer. Not to mention all the money he has scammed people out of. It's just despicable!

Would transferring the BOI to here be out of the question? Or at least a BOI concerning corn snakes? If that's not possible, how about starting one here regarding corns or "other related animals for sale"?

Again, I have no idea what to do as I hardly ever visit Fauna...

Just so you understand what is going on. Rich is considering closing the BOI because of the risk of litigation and it's costs. Something he doesn't want to bear, in his retirement. Which I totally understand. It's not that he fears loosing a law suit, which he probably wouldn't. It's the costs associated with that law suit. Here are a couple of threads explaining that;

I hope that helps you understand what and why things may be changing. The only way to save the BOI, is to become contributing members or donate. The BOI needs to be Financially Self Sufficient in order to survive. If things don't change by 1 Jan 2010, then I believe it will be left open for one year to contributing members and then close down permanently.

Threads, like the original one I posted, will disappear forever!

I'm not asking any one, to do anything, I haven't already done. I have paid my contributorship and then donated directly.

Next paycheck clears, I am contributing to Fauna. I had no idea it was in danger...bought my last several snakes from people on cs.com who I KNEW were legit, so I haven't used it in a while...

Please, everybody, donate...this is a service too important to lose, and a headache Rich does NOT need as he finishes a very busy season...

That's a problem that is being seen, even at Fauna. A lot of people, do not know about what is going on with the BOI. Because of that, the guy mentioned in the referenced thread, gets a clean slate. Is that fair to the animals he keeps or his future customers?
