What breed and how long will it take?

New here as of today.. I have a male Amel, a male Striped, a female Ghost and a female Cornsicle. The Striped mated with both females: What do I get when I cross a Striped with a Ghost, and what do I get when I cross a Striped with a Cornsicle?.... also... both clutches have been incubated for 50 and 53 days. They are doing well. The temp has been at 85 and the humidity at 80-85 the entire time. When will they hatch?

The genetics is kind of complicated sometimes if you don't understand it. In your case, the stripe gene is not related to the ghost or the "creamsicle" gene. You didn't say but I am guessing that your striped male is normal in color. If that is the case your babies will all appear normal unless sombody has a recessive gene we don't know about.

Corn eggs take about 60 days to hatch. 85* is a little warmer than I incubate at and that may shorten the time a little.

It's not as easy as putting them together and red and yellow make orange, blue and yellow make green...... I don't know what does what to what or how to prove this with that..... But the guys on here will love telling you.... Note pad ready....LOL

She's got it a little even more confusing as she has a community tank and so has no real way of knowing which snake sired which clutch. It'll definitely be a grab-bag when it comes to hatching time.

Actually, I video'd the breeding, so I DO know.

Don't you have anything better to do than to follow my coments around and try to make me sound as if I have no clue what's going on in my own home? Are you just lonely or what???

Why is it that my questions and comments offend you so much?

Maybe you should get a job.

You videoed taped your snakes 24/7 or just one encounter? Sorry to disappoint you, but your posts aren't the only ones that I'm responding too.

And I have a very nice job, thank you very much :) It allows me time to play online. And pays pretty dang well too

So you just need to get laid then. I'm glad I'm not the only newcomer you're screwing with. Buh bye losers.

Oh! don't leave yet you haven't heard my take on things. Anything your cornsicle lays will be a cornsicle as for the ghost, go figure. I would love to see that video you have on mating snakes, cooool. Please provide a link.

:uhoh: I wouldn't advise fighting fire with fire there dude. You're really only coming off as exceedingly immature, which may certainly not be the case, as we don't know you.

PS - "cornsicle" gives me this horrible yet hilarious image of a corn on the cob ice cream treat

See now I think of the corn on a stick you can get at the fair.

Well yeah, I figured that was a given, meaning that when the babies pip who knows who the heck sired them.

God if there's hidden hets that'll get so confusing you won't know whos het what!
