This is one of my babies that hatched on august 1st. I'm definately keeping him!! With every shed, he changes and looks nothing like my other ghost babies. He's much lighter and in person has a purplish, pink hue. The mom is a ghost and daddy is a pastel motley.

My male ghost was 2 years old when I got him, but I imagine that he looked much like your guy as a hatchling. His background color is lavenderish. I'd just say that he's a colorful male ghost. :)

Cool, the purple-looking ones are cute as hatchlings. (I just wish they'd stay that way, hehe.)

How many other male ghosts were in the clutch?

Yeah, I like the purple hues. My adult pastel motley still has a purple tint to him when he's out in the sun.
This baby was the only male.

I've noticed that male ghosts can be a bit odd compared to females. That might be why he doesn't look like his sibs. :)

Like Serp, I've also noticed that it's the male ghosts that get more of the nice pink and peach coloration. They also tend to be lighter. It's about the same as in the lavenders, but often not as dramatic.
