• Hello!

Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.

Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....

Please be certain that the location field is correctly filled out when you register. All registrations that appear to be bogus will be rejected. Which means that if your location field does NOT match the actual location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected.

Sorry about the strictness of this requirement, but it is necessary to block spammers and scammers at the door as much as possible.

What critter would you recommend as a next pet?

Rats are so awesome, though I've never owned one personally I've had many a friend whose rats I've taken care of, and all of what's already been said proves true! Go for a rat. ;)

Whilst I love bats, I don't think I'd go handle one right out in the wild that I'd found, simply because I'm uber-paranoid about rabies. :sidestep: Bats are a pretty big vector for rabies in the U.S., though I would absolutely love to hold one and keep one as a pet! <3 Especially a fruit bat, they're totally like foxes with wings!

Roborovski hamsters (a.k.a. Robo hamsters) are adorable, but they really are quick as a flash once they get loose...proving near impossible to catch...but they're friendly little souls. Maybe consider researching them further?
