what do blue eyes mean for a snake

Yes, it means your snake will shed soon. First it will clear up, then shed in a couple of days.
 
Keep in mind that the snakes eyesight isnt at its best at this point, they can tend to want to be left alone and not handled so much when they are about to shed, some even get a little fiesty when shedding is imminent - just depends on youre snakes personality.
Some snakes also refuse to feed when due to shed - dont worry tooo muvch about this, it should start to feed after its sloughed its skin.
Remember to check that it sheds the whole skin, taking care to check the tail tip , sometimes this doesnt come off with the full shed and can end up causing the snake to lose the tip of its tail. If you are worried that it hasnt shed the whole skin just let us all know and we can give you loads of tips to help.
