Hope this is posted in the right area, if not please move this post do to noob operator error ;)

I keep seeing in all these post of a person having a 1.0 corn or a 3.1, etc... I've also seen it in posts about mice and raising feeding colonies. Can someone please explain to me what all the math means? Thanks.

someone correct me if I'm wrong, I'm still new with all this so I'm not completely sure about the order but its its 1.2.3 -- 1 would mean 1 male, 2 females and 3 would be if your not sure.

ah that didnt come out right 1.2.3, 1 would represent how many males you have, 2 would represent how many females, and 3 would represent the ones your not sure about

I have 3.4.0 corns
three males, four females and zero unknowns.

1.1 brazilian rainbow boas, one boy and one girl.

0.0.1 jungle carpet python, unknown sex. If anyone knows about sexing pythons I could use some advice.
