I find that it's cheaper to buy f/t in bulk rather than to breed the mice I need. I would be putting out more in bedding, food and my own work if I bred more than what I have right now. I only breed for pinks and fuzzies, mostly. If I had to let 40+ mice reach adulthood each week to feed my gang, I'd be in the hole. It's not always cheaper or easier to breed your own. Especially if you don't have the room. Another plus for f/t! LOL
