What does Your Snake Hate?

My snake (AKA Snakey, Snakeychops, Snakeyface, Slitherchops) doesnt really hate much, although lately he's been refusing food when he's in blue. He used to be ok with eating in public, but now he prefers to eat in private, so i just leave him alone. Ive never seen him near his water, so I dunno if he likes that or not.

Because his viv used to be a fish tank (we still use it with the top opening) there is a glass support bar across the middle from front to back.we have a lid made out of glass which sits on this, but there used to be a gap between the support bar and the lid, so he was able to climb up and get stuck between the lid and the support bar. Sometimes he's just get his middle stuck and dangle there! Once i removed him and his middle was squashed, took about 5 mins to get back to normal shape! We have now placed a piece of wood on the bar so he can no longer get up here!

After a daily recreational jaunt around mine and my daughters hands/arms etc, Pebbles hates to go back in her viv. Shes only a late '06 and has a glass 10 gallon tank at the minute, but as you try and put her back she just climbs back up your hand. She is so laid back tho. It is worse than trying to get Wooster (our cat) in a cat box to go to the vets.LOL

How can I tell what he hates? Ive never been bitten, or felt some sort of aggression towards my well being. Hmmm....Id guess he hates to be around at all during the day. I caught him one night poking his head out of his hide, but then he saw me! He went into a stare....I moved (to change the temperature)...and then he backed up into his hide. One of the few times I have seen him outside that hide. Just recentally he has been sitting in there all the time, he doesnt borrow any more (which makes it easier to find him).

-Dez my hypomelanistic hates being seen. He always hides.

-Lily my aneythristic hates my cat. She hisses at him.

-B@stard my Leucistic texas rat hates males. Actually...he only likes me. (on rare occasions)

-My nameless Albino kingsnake hates everything that moves. She hates it so much she chases after it and bites it as hard as she can! :grin01:

P.S. Be careful w/ him crawling on your head. I let Lupe do that last night, and she BIT MY EYE. Like, if I hadn't shut my eyelid so fast, I'd be without 1 eye right now...

This scares me now. When I take out my HUGE black rat male to hold, the first thing he does is go straight for my face and sniff/taste all around my mouth, nose, and ears. Now I'm going to be afraid he's just going to randomly take a bite.

Isabelle: Hates being found underneath the aspen, hates my husband

Corrigan: Hates... well... nothing.

1.0 black rat: Hates the dog and the cat. He eagerly stalks and bites them whenever possible.

0.1 black rat: I would have said nothing a few days ago, but tonight was feeding night and she's in deep blue. Today she hates me, any sound, any movement, any shadow or excess amount of light, plus everything everybody else hates up there.^

It must be that time of the month :crazy02:.....for a shed.

my 06 corns are like little sheeps they can´t reak a hair of it!
The only one who is sometimes a bit "grummi" is my 04 1.0 miami/classic
every time i fedd him you just have to walk by his box and he starts rattling as hell as he wantz 2 say back of my mice :crazy02: !

apparently, my snake hates being "caught" trying to escape..... I came home this afternoon and she was climbing up her plant and pushing on the lid- when I turned the light on she froze..... didn't move for a loooong while, and the second I looked away to answer a quick yes/no question from my roommate, she was gone.

Serious stealth skills, I tell you....

hehe

my females dont like when I handle them when they are bearing eggs , and they really don´t like if I dig them up from the substrate=)

Hendrix doesn't hate anything so far. He even lets the dog lick him! He lets me pet his back and kiss him. He recently started to like watching the television. If I had to pick one thing that we wasn't thrilled with, I'd have to say that it would be when I try to guide him in a different direction. He's very stubborn, and if I guide his head in a certain direction, he lets me, lulls me into a false sense of security, and then once my hand is gone, WHAM, he whips his head around and dashes back into the direction he was going in the first place! Sneaky little devil!
